All the kids are hitting their milestones over the last couple weeks, so a update is definitely in order.
As I am sure all of you know, my one and only, wonderful, kind, gentle hearted son, turned the big 3 this last weekend. We threw him a party at 321 bounce in Bellevue where all his friends and his cousin Aiden joined us (he was talking about cousin Adien coming to his party for WEEKS before the actual party, he is always so excited to see him!) Ty wasn't all to sure of the huge slides and climbing arrangments in the bouncy houses, so may have been a bit early for him to do that type of party, but never the less he got some good quality time with his friends, and I think he ended up having a lot of fun being the center of attention. I look at that boy, and I am amazed every day about just how kind and loving he is. I couldn't be prouder of my little man!
The girls hit several milestones over the last couple weeks. Both girls got their first teeth, and it's the same tooth of course. One small little guy on the bottom. Shyann's broke through last Thursday and Savanna's broke through Saturday. They are drooling, snotty, messes, so I am sure more are to come soon. Thank god because this finally means I can stop spending an arm and a leg on the baby food jars. MAN those things really add up with two of them eating them every day. It will be nice to have the entire family sitting down at the dinner table together, everyone eating the same thing, and everyone mostly feeding themselves. I am excited for that day, as I might just get to eat dinner with my family again, rather then being the last one to eat because I have to feed the girls!! (Though honestly, Ricky has done most of that the last couple days as appointment hell broke out for me).
Savanna offcially started crawling this week as well. 8 months old and the girl is crusing. She has a look of complete happiness and self satisfaction every time you see her take a knee and an arm forward, and her body actually comes along ;0).
Shyann, still not really interested in this whole crawling thing. She is content being held and playing on the floor on her tummy. I think the only reason that woman is going to ever crawl is for self preservation, because poor Savanna steals her toys, binki's, and even backs up onto her getting stuck. Shyann is not very pleased with Savanna doing any of these things. I am a mean mom though, and make them tough it out on their own mostly (unless Shyann is getting kicked in the face or something of course.). I figured they have to learn to deal with each other at this level sooner rather then later, as they are stuck together for life :)
Having twins is an amazing experience I will tell you that. Watching them interact with each other, get mad at each other, and even cuter, watching how they both interact with their brother differently is nothing other then amazing... These kids are the end all be all to my life. They define that statement for me!!
Love you all, hopefully see you soon!
