Ahh.... what a relaxing weekend we had. We headed up to the stilly cabin on Saturday morning, did some pumpkin carving at Tati's, and then headed home late Sunday. Grammie and Poppi took care of the girls while dad and I napped, it felt super good. It's been a long time since a nap came easily :)
The girls and I stayed downstairs together while the boys,Grammie and Poppi slept up stairs together. The last time any guests will stay in the basement until it is overhauled. They said it should be finished by Christmas, which is SUPER exciting. I can't wait to see a finished basement, especially because then I won't hear everyone up stairs, mainly Ty :) It won't be a cabin anymore, it is going to be a full fledged house, ready for guests :) Let me know if you want to take an over night trip to a close by cabin, it is super fun and right on the creek where Salmon are spawning.
There were some great photos taken by Tati and Poppi, so as soon as we gather those, we will post some pics.

Um, I would LOVE a night in a cabin where I can step outside and sit by the water. It sounds just like my kind of place!
I would ADORE bringing you and the entire family up for a trip. I actually thought about just that this weekend. We should plan a weekend where we can all get away together in the new year. After the remodel, there is plenty of room for all of us to sleep comfortably. The cabin is RIGHT on a creek, very short walk to a larger river opening, and has hiking grounds all around. Great place for photos too!
I would LOVE that!! Let's do it!!
