The remodel is done, and though our house still needs much work before it is completely back to normal, it is no longer in construction mode which is really nice and a lot less stressful.
Sunday I went shopping with Sarah to get some things for Tamara's shower, and we had a blast around Bellevue thinking of ideas for her Batch party. It was really nice doing that, to be focused on such a fun thing that is such a short time away. I can't believe they are finally getting married in just a matter of months. I am so EXCITED! I have one more weekend to get my house back to normal before the bridal shower at my place, so wish me luck :) Gotta at least get some pictures on the wall, it is naked in there.
Things are doing ok with the family. Ty has been sick off and on all week, and was miserable this weekend, but the same thing happened this time last year, so I am trying not to stress it. I seceretly think he just wants to be at home with his dad. I take him to school, he runs a fever, stays at home the next day with dad and all they do is have fun and play. I think the kid has figured out how to stick his head on a light bulb or something so the daycare will send him home for 24 hours. It's nice for the boys to get some alone time though, you can really start to see Ty adapting to daddy WAY more then me lately. Though I of course am selfish and want him to always love me best, and never want to be the bad mom ;0) that is what I have turned into. That is OK though, watching those two together is the light of my life. They are to freaking cute, and I have always known Ricky was a two year old at heart, so now he has a play mate.
The girls are doing good. At the last check up everything looked good but the girls are trending a bit small. The doctor has requested I drink 4 protein shakes a day to get in the 160 grams of protein I need, wants me taking extra folic acid, and a baby aspirin. He said all that should help them catch up a bit. If they gain more weight though I don't know how I am going to keep walking. It already hurts to be on my feet for more then 5 minutes, considering I look and weigh as much as I did full term with Ty, but only 2 1/2-3 more months and they will be here, so a short time left to sacrifice my feet, stomach, butt and thighs :) Strict dieting and work out regiment will be in order once the girls stop breast feeding :) Hopefully it's just all them, and the pounds will shed themselves. The most important thing is they are healthy, and from the amounts of moving these kids do, they are happy. Thank the heavens for that.
Ricky and I had a talk last night, and he is now going to be turning into mister mom for a while. Cooking dinner, doing dishes, helping with laundry. I need the extra two hands, feet, and well, the whole extra body is nice! I don't know how single parents do it, I have much respect for them.
