The girls have an offical birthday, pending no changes in either hospital schedule, or growth of the two babes. The c-section is scheduled for June 15th at noon, Ricky and I check in at 10am, and get the party started in terms of getting these girls out of my big ol belly and into our arms.
7 Short weeks and boom, the number of childeren will outweight the number of adults in the house. It is crazy to think that it is all happening so quickly. Of course if you talk to me in person, you will definitely hear me say it isn't happening quick enough. Only because with this pregnancy not just the standard things hurt, like my back, my feet, etc. but my hips feel like they pop out of joint every time I stand up, my right wrist throbs incredibly for some reason, likely becuase I am on the computer all day, I can't even sit and be comfortable as my stomach doens't fit between my legs (SO SAD), and walking up a simple flight of 10 stairs makes me breath like I just ran a 26 mile marathon! Never the less, the pain is worth the cause, and the cause at this point is babies that weigh a decent amount and don't need to stay in the NICU. Since the doctors are only predicting about 4lbs babies as it is, they need to stay in there as long as they possibly can. I am not sure I know how to hold a 4lb baby, let alone, two of them. :)
I am excited to have a end date in site. I plan on taking a week off before the delivery to try and rest. Maybe visit with some friends/family before I don't leave my house again for a while :)
Hopefully see you all soon!
More baby updates and trip to the zoo pictures
The girls are doing well. Went in for my 28 week ultrasound today and the babies are looking good. One of the girls is in the 20th percentile and one is in the 40th, but the good news the percentiles are around singleton babies and so the numbers aren't so bad for twins. My mom came with me and got to withness Baby B (full name yet to be decided/accepted :)) smile. It was so super cute, and seeing them actually made me feel really good today. It is a lot easier to relate to a real baby face than it is the over-growing belly. They are super cute, my worries are eased!

And life continues on
As I have written anything in several weeks a quick update is over due.
All is good, as it typically is. Ricky has been at home all week working hard at getting the yard in order. Spent a good 10-12 hours working on triming the much over grown shrubs in our yard yesterday, and mowed the lawn Monday, taking full advantage of the nice days of weather we have had here. The difference in the shrubs is amazing. Looks so much better. Honestly, if we weren't having to deal with the horridness that is unemployment, I would much prefer Ricky stayed at home and did all this house stuff he has been doing. Will be much nicer when I am home on leave.
Ty is doing great. Not sick, and back to his normal wonderful, but 2 year old self. I will tell you that though he presses every button he can to test us out, I have seen some of the cutest damn things in my life over the past couple weeks. We went to the zoo this last weekend (will show some pics soon), and he had a blast. Dad took him around to see all the animals as mom rested her huge prego feet at almost every stop. Ty could repeat back or even tell us the names of all the animals, and I truely believe that the Tiger was his fav! Him and dad watched that for the longest! Monday evening we went out in the negiborhood and played with the negibor girls as dad worked on his truck, and Ty squealed like a little pig as the negibor girls drove him around in their little electric barbie jeep. He would just stare at Tori and smile, then mimic every sound she would make, and when she went fast, he just screamed in enjoyment. It fills my soul, it really does, to get to experience those moments with him.
Girls are doing good. Growing like crazy, and no signs that they will come early as of yet. They tell me the next 10 weeks I am going to grow like crazy though, as this is the time the girls will gain most of their weight... not sure how to handle that. Monday I will be in my final trimester, and I am already getting the comments of "Due any day now are you?" NO YOU HORRIBLE PEOPLE, I HAVE 10 WEEKS MINIMUM TO GO! I will do my damndest from this point forward to never make such comments to any pregnant woman!
Thats it for now, and loving you all!
