Snow days

So we have been stuck at home since Wed. last week, and let me tell you just how sick of my house I am getting. I love the fact that we have gotten so much snow this year, but what a bad year to give up an SUV with 4 wheel drive and go to a Prius.

Ty has been ok with the snow, but he doesn't love it. I am guessing likely because he has to wear 5 layers of clothes to go out and it isn't all that comfortable. Whenever he fell in the snow, he refused to get himself up an rather just stayed there till I worked my way over and picked him up. He just looked at me like... MOM, get me out of this cold stuff. He is really cute in all his gear though!

Attached are some pics, and the first pic of my belly at 12 weeks. I already feel like a hippo, but I blame that on the twins.

The weekend

It was a pretty uneventful weekend for us this week.

My mom and dad took Ty for us (and let me just say, thank god they did as I really needed some rest and me time!!) so I had a full weekend of just sitting around, or rather laying, and doing nothing but eating. I spent all day saturday either in bed, or on the couch, as Ricky ran around all day and got me food so I didn't have to cook. I probably ate enough calories to gain a good 10 lbs, but luckily I have little twins in there to help me run through those.

Sunday we went to breakfast with my parents and T&T and picked up the munchkin. While it was nice he was gone I really missed him. We tried to go for a walk in the 3 or so inches of snow out in monroe, but Ty wasn't feeling 100% and had freezing hands and face by about 10 minutes in so we had to bail on T&T and get him home. Ty enjoyed it none the less. Looked like the big ol marshmallow man!

It was a good weekend for rest and relaxation!

It's Twins!!

That's right, it is offical, the doctors found two during the ultrasound. It was a shock for Ricky and I both as twins don't run in our family and we weren't on any fertility meds, and with there being only a 2% chance for natural twins, we were SHOCKED, that we won that lotto.

While I was incredibly freaked out yesterday, I am doing a lot better today. Now my biggest fear is will I be able to carry both to term and will they be happy and healthy with a much more crunched enviroment!! Pray for us, we need both babies born happy and healthy!
